Adventure Portraits For Generations Along Coastal Maine

Boutique storytelling photography for families, couples, women, kids, and pets
— along the coast of Maine.

About Sarah

I'm in Your Corner to Help Create Meaningful Portraits

I built this business on preserving genuine moments and people, then immortalizing them through heirloom artwork.

I'm a boutique family photographer serving coastal Maine. I seek to build a relationship, not just a transaction, with each of my clients. Every session I take on becomes personal, because I only take on a few.

A few years ago, I lost all my family photos because I only had them saved digitally. Our generation may be the most photographed- but how many of those images will ever leave a screen? From that moment, I decided I couldn't let my clients lose their best memories to the "digital graveyard". Now, we create artwork that honors the present and lasts generations.

Storytelling Family Photography as

Heirloom Art

Not just images -wall art and albums designed to be displayed, shared, and handed down.

Most photographers hand you files. I hand you finished artwork.

That's the distinction at the heart of what boutique family photography in Maine actually means: a full-service, relationship-first experience where nothing falls through the cracks and nothing feels rushed.

I work with a small number of families, couples, and individuals each season — by design. That intentional limit means you get my full attention from consultation through artwork delivery. No assembly line, no pressure, no guesswork. Every choice we make together, from location to light to the frame on your wall, is deliberate.

Maine's coastline, forests, and open farmland give us some of the most breathtaking backdrops in New England. I know these locations deeply, and I use them to build images that feel rooted somewhere real. The goal is always the same: heirloom wall art and albums that don't just document a moment — they become part of your home's story.

What Families Are Saying

Built on referrals, driven by relationships

Questions? Good.

Here are the ones I hear most often.

How does the boutique process work?

I keep my calendar intentionally small so every client gets a fully guided, full-service experience. That means a planning consultation before your session, hands-on direction during it, and a personal artwork ordering appointment afterward. You're never just handed files and left to figure out the rest.

I'll help you plan your outfits so they're coordinating without looking too "matchy". The short version: choose colors that feel like your family — earthy tones, soft neutrals, and layered textures photograph beautifully on the Maine coast. Avoid busy patterns or matching outfits head-to-toe. When in doubt, ask me.

Golden-hour sessions in summer and fall book up fast — often 6 to 10 weeks out. Spring and off-season dates tend to have a little more flexibility. If you have a specific date or location in mind, reaching out sooner is always the right call.

Every session includes your Design Consultation, the full on-location shoot, and your personal Artwork Ordering Appointment. Your investment in prints, albums, or wall art is separate and chosen by you during that ordering session — no surprise packages, no pressure.

I place your order directly with my professional print lab and review everything for quality before it ships to you. Most artwork arrives within two to three weeks of your ordering appointment. I deliver and install wall art for my clients.

Absolutely. I'm based in Southern Maine and regularly photograph throughout Mid-coastal Maine as well. Travel beyond the region is available for the right project — reach out and let's talk.

Yes, and I encourage it. Pets are family. I ask that you bring a handler for larger dogs so I can focus on you, but four-legged members are always welcome.

Let's Start with a Conversation

Every great session begins with a quick call — no pressure, no commitment. Tell me a little about your family, your people, your vision. We'll figure out the rest together.
